All minds welcome

We think a chess club should be social, welcoming, and part of the local community. Since starting in summer 2025, we’ve grown into a friendly group of players from across Walthamstow and beyond who share a love of the game.

We meet every Monday from 7pm, and once a month on a Sunday afternoon. We usually meet at Big Penny Social but our venues vary at times – see our upcoming schedule to be sure.
